On February 18, 2026, over 100 members of American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI) gathered for a high-profile reception during the NRB Convention in Nashville. The event was hosted by Troy Miller (NRB President & CEO), Dr. Susan Michael (President of ICEJ USA & Director of ACLI), and Calev Myers (Co-founder and Chairman of the Judeo-Christian Zionist Congress).
Susan Michael opened the meeting by emphasizing that, in the current geopolitical climate, we are stronger together. She highlighted that the ACLI was founded 11 years ago to formalize the relationship between Christian leaders and Israel. Michael remarked, “Israel and the Jewish people need us to be very strong these days. We can no longer afford to be loners, to be separate, to be caught up in our own world; we’ve got to be able to lock arms and collaborate.” She announced several 2026 initiatives, including a Christian Declaration Against Anti-Semitism and Israel Advocacy Day in Washington DC.
Representing the Israeli government, Lily Mills of the Embassy of Israel framed the era as a “civilizational contest for the next generation” where “we must win it with truth.” She noted that rising anti-Jewish hatred is a “warning sign for every society, and for people of faith, it’s a moral test.” Mills paid tribute to her colleagues–Sarah Milgram and Yaron Leshinsky—murdered in Washington, D.C., in 2025. Mills stated that “their deaths deepen our grief, but they also sharpen our resolve.”
Calev Myers addressed the “eighth front” of the conflict: the battle for world opinion. He noted that as of 2026, the majority of Zionists worldwide are evangelical Christians. Myers remarked, “Zionism in 1897 was about the survival of the Jewish people; Zionism in 2026 is about the survival of Western civilization.” He urged organizations to set aside egos, stating, “If Jews and Christians can get our act together and collaborate, nothing in this world can stop us.”
The reception concluded with Troy Miller, who affirmed that NRB’s support for the Jewish nation will never waver. He said, “We are not behind our Jewish brothers and sisters; we are locked arm-in-arm with you. This is a battle we will win together.” He concluded the event by stating, “We serve together a God who is bigger than the enemy who wants to divide us, destroy us, and conquer us.”
